The phrase “personal injury attorney” carries negative connotations for most Americans. This is a natural result of many causes including ridiculous law suits (ahem… McDonald’s Coffee)and books and movies portraying all lawyers as ambulance chasers.
What most people don’t know is that the entire aim of tort law is to make the injured whole. Now that does not sound like too bad of a thing, right? Especially when you allow yourself to consider all of the traffic accidents, accidents at work, tripping accidents, assault claims, accidents in the home, defective product accidents, and all kinds of other injuries that occur to good (and bad) people every day.
My favorite Utah personal injury attorney is Patricia LaTulippe, because she really views the law (and her role as a lawyer) as being a person’s best shot to be “made whole” after an injury. Rather, than just another chance for her to earn some money.
